Isobel Bakes is monitoring and strictly adhering to the latest advice from UK government, Public Health England and the NHS. As a fully registered and insured business Isobel Bakes already operates a strict food safety management system, ensuring the highest possible hygiene standards are constantly maintained with a 5 start food Hygiene rating.
Couples wishing to discuss design ideas and options for their wedding cake can book a consultation appointment. With many parts of the surrounding region currently subject to local lockdown restrictions, we are presently holding consultations by phone or video. Please just get in touch and we will be pleased to book you in.
Where couples with consultations or cake tasting appointments are suddenly impacted by local lockdown restrictions, arrangements can be revised to contactless collection of cake samples and consultation by video call. We will check whether any local restrictions apply as part of the pre-consultation reminder.
For couples with existing wedding cake bookings and wedding plans that may be impacted by the pandemic, or if you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will do our utmost to fulfil all bookings and accommodate any revisions to wedding arrangements, including flexibly transferring bookings to any new dates at no extra cost.
A 30% deposit fee is taken to secure the date. This is a non refundable deposit even if the wedding is cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic or any other reason. Cancellations must be made 10 days before the date of the wedding. Any material costs already incurred due to late notice will also be incurred. We will do our upmost to accommodate your new wedding date if the wedding is postponed. Wedding insurance is fully recommended to couples to cover any loses due to the pandemic. Comprehensive Invoices will be provided from our end to aid any insurance claims a couple may wish to make.
Your wedding day is one of the most important occasions in anyone’s life and delivering the most exquisite wedding cake with the best possible service is of primary importance to us. That includes keeping you, your guests, venue staff and ourselves as safe as can be.
